Cambiatus is an open source platform to empower the creation of new organizations through social currencies on blockchain.
We’ve been live since 2018, and currently have 8 partner communities in Brazil, Costa Rica and Ethiopia, with a total of around 8,500 members using Cambiatus today. This video explains it further.
Our partner communities become financially resilient and less dependent on fiat money because they are using their own social currencies. They can reward members for actions that are related to their collective objectives and create an internal economic cycle.Those actions promote the community objectives, acting as an engaging tool that fosters the collaboration of people from different perspectives and experiences.
Examples of those actions are: participating on beach cleanups, as a volunteer in an agroforestry task force, contributing to a given forest conservation area, and many others, that depend on the community context and objectives.
Our team is distributed in Costa Rica, Brazil, Canada and Sweden. This makes us a diverse group, rich in cultures and skills, and especially with the feeling of “Learning” or that makes us hands-on! 💪

Estamos operando desde 2018 e atualmente temos 8 comunidades parceiras no Brasil, Costa Rica e Etiópia, com um total de cerca de 8.500 membros usando o Cambiatus hoje. Este vídeo explica melhor.
Nossas comunidades parceiras se tornam financeiramente resilientes e menos dependentes de dinheiro fiduciário porque estão usando suas próprias moedas sociais. Eles podem recompensar os membros por ações relacionadas aos seus objetivos coletivos e criar um ciclo econômico interno. Essas ações promovem os objetivos da comunidade, atuando como uma ferramenta envolvente que fomenta a colaboração de pessoas de diferentes perspectivas e experiências.
Exemplos dessas ações são: participar de limpezas de praias, como voluntário em mutirões agroflorestais, contribuir para uma determinada área de conservação florestal, e muitas outras, que dependem do contexto e objetivos da comunidade.
Nosso time está distribuído na Costa Rica, Brasil, Canadá e Suécia. Isso nos torna um grupo diverso, rico em culturas e habilidades, e principalmente com o sentimento de “Aprender” ou que nos torna mão na massa! 💪
