My Journey into Crypto World

in #blockchain7 years ago

28th January 2018 is a date I will forever remember for it was the day I delved into the world of Cryptocurrency.
A friend of mine have been trying to introduce me to something new, a decentralized world he calls it but I wasn't interested for i was engrossed in my own world; football and sports betting, but as fate would have it I asked him what's it all about out of curiosity and he told me sign up on bitcontalk. That was the beginning of my journey for I became interested with the crypto world and I even started bounty hunting; I use to think bounty hunters were people who track people down for money only, not until I myself became one in the the crypto world.
I learnt the difference between tokens and coins and also ICOs, started a couple of bounties with so much vigor always making sure I don't lag behind on campaigns, fast forward to where I am and what I've learnt not all ICOs are legit some are scams and you'll have to make research before investing on a project.

  • Don't be entised by bogus promises of 100x
  • Try to know the Team of the project
  • And just like Sports betting, only invest money you can afford to loose.
Those are my key points though yours might be different but this works for me. Back to the bounty hunting, it's rewarding if you're in the top rank, not for people like me because I later found out you need merits to climb up rank which is kinda good in a way but a major turn off. You can make quality posts from now till thy kingdom come but those up there are kinda stingy with their merit they only share it among themselves so I had this thought, if they really want to sensitize that platform why not move all social media campaigns to a different platform like bountyplatform.io for that will surely chase off those who use bounty post for post count, kinda guilty of that too although just a little bit not much and leave those who are really interested in learning more about cryptocurrencies. In essence my journey is just starting and I have a long way to go so any advice will be appreciated, corrections will be noted. Thanks for taking your time to read this
