This is a very interesting point. I completely agree that shipping waste drives a huge fraction of global emissions and fuel waste. Supply chain optimization (as well as waste reduction), has a huge potential to save resources and reduce emissions.

I like the kind of thinking behind this idea. Using technology to optimize existing processes and create savings helps drive business success, protect the environment and achieve other goals (such as security goals).
