The more I think about it, the more I love the idea to secure the history of family on blockchain. We don't know yet what to come and how the future will look like, but I think if there had been a similar thing like blockchain a few hundert years ago or even 70-80 years ago, the history of mankind would have been a very different and much more peaceful than the actual history past.
Imagine future generations will be able to read about their grand-grand-grandparents and about the grand-grand-grandparents of other people and about their struggles, fears, hopes and moments of happyness. Why in the world would they follow a political system which orders them to hate and fight and kill each-other?
It's nice that you heared even more unheared stories about your dad through your post and it's amazing, that your niece learned something about her grandma.
I think, by creating this new #blockchain-tribut tag you did a really well job, of whichs amazing results we aren't aware yet!
You are sooooooo right. I love reading history books. Back then, so few people actually published books. So, just imagine a world going forward when the Steem blockchain continues on, that people of all socio-economic, education, ethnicity, and cultures contribute a special piece of themselves for their descendants. That's awesome! If you do create one, please feel free to drop a link in the comments!
For sure I will!
But before I do so I have a few other projects to be done!
