I remember when only a few people that I know were interested of that particular currency.
Mostly those working in IT field, developing softwares and games.
When they suggested to invest in Bitcoin, everybody laughed - there were too many pyramid
schemes already out there, everybody was supersticious.
Now all I see on my Facebook timeline is people who want to buy or sell their bitcoin,
those advertising faucets/investing sites and those desperate to collect info about them
as fast as they could. Since the fork the values has increased, to about 3400 dollars per one
bitcoin, but it is still volatile - varies depending where you look or operate with it.
What I have discovered is you cant really get rich fast in a legit way. It is a game of luck just
like casino - only those that are favoured by fortuna can prosper.
When you buy/sell on the wrong time, you lose. When you dont invest in the right places,
you lose. And when you mine in the wrong faucets that will only steal your data - well, you get that.
Plus it is easy to lose your wallet, apparently - maby that is why it became so valuable?
My aquintance lost his wallet 5 minutes after he made it - inserting the right password, it says it is wrong.
One must be careful not to log in to any of your wallets in a public place - dont have the exact experience,
but my Paypal account was hacked that way (additional email added and someone else was obviously
using it). That talk is only to warn other people that are relatively new to it - not to get expectations too
high and to be careful. I admire those that have earned a fortune with Bitcoin - successful deals and
investments - it gives hope to others that they can achieve the same, if they are lucky ; )
