Thanks Bittrex and Bill, Fantastic work, but I downvoted this to keep the rewards from going too high for an 'announcement' post. That takes money away from the pool that rewards authors.

by downvote do you mean flag? or just choosing not to vote at all?
Your idea is a cool one. As someone who spends 10-12 hours a week just for one hangout, I have a bias toward your approach. However, I will say that if someone announces that hillary clinton is going to prison---I will upvote that before I upvote my own comment ;)
I guess my point is...there ARE some sexy announcements worth paying a good bit for, and if everyone announces certain things in a flood of copycat posts it may not always be a bad thing (though most the time it likely will be).
There's an argument to bring the down vote button back.
I think rewarding the guys that are hosting steem on their exchanges and have the most volume right now isn't a bad thing... That would give more incentives to other exchange owners to include steem in their exchanges sooner than expected... (even if the reason are selfish I don't care)
You probably love irony. Do not vote down. That is bad. You must love communism.
I love capitalism. I want to take money. I want to make a lot of money.
And you say that a lot of money is bad.
