You can relax though, Steem and SBD aren't one of them.
In a blog post the other day, Bittrex announed that they would be removing support for 82 coins.

*According to Bittrex, the coins with an " * " next to their name is due to there being an underlying problem with the blockchain or wallet for that particular coin that will not allow for withdrawals.
Why the removal of so many coins?
Bittrex states that the removal of coins and wallets has to do with meeting their listing requirements, or lack there of.
This from Bittrex:
"These actions are taken to ensure customers have access to digital tokens that continue to meet our strict coin listing criteria and have a properly functioning blockchain and wallet."

If you have any of these coins, they need to be removed by March 30, 2018 if you would like to have access to them.
Personally, this sounds like part of the process of cleaning up the exchanges to better meet regulator requirements.
The sooner we can clean up much of the garbage out there, the sooner real projects like Steem can achieve more accurate valuations.

Bittrex doing housecleaning is a good idea.More should be done to regulate the influx of useless coins into the market.
None of the ones I'm hodling... of course as good as I am at picking coins, they will probably remove themselves!

Good. Amateur crypto-heads often invest in small cap poor project simply because of they don't know what to invest in. I made this mistake myself at the start of my crypto journey. Money wasted. There's so many legit projects that we really don't need people to put their money into rubbish. I don't think I recognize any of these coins, so can't say for sure whether they are rubbish or not, but I assume they are!
This is great news in my opinion. There are so many junk coins out there right now. There have been over 100 new coins added to Coin MarketCap over the past month or two alone. It seems like anyone can throw out their own ICO and have a digital token. The big problem is that there are so many new investors in the market. These people are often getting duped by these garbage ICO’s and in many cases they jump onto some of the pump and dump scemes and then get left holding the preverbial trash bag. Let’s have markets only deal with legit coins that have solid foundation and function to them. Go Steem!!!

That's bad news for me because I hold many coins on this what I do now can you suggest me
well, Farhan, bittrex is not the only exchange. Am sure there must be other exchanges. In the short run, have them moved over to other exchanges and try to get rid of em as quickly as possible by exchanging for whatever little you'd get for them in BTC /ETH.
If Bittrex is going to take 'em off, I think sooner rather than later they're going to crash. This, however, is just my personal take. My 2 cents.
Yea this could be a good thing for the crypto community.
We shouldn't care about Bittrex, decentralized exchanges are the future of cryptocurrencies.
Seems like they will be listing some good and well organised tokens in the coming days !
In a way they did took a right decision though !
I think even Binance does something very similar that they discontinue coins based on regulatory requirements I believe. I think most of the exchanges with better standards would do this.
If anything, we should only feel good about trash being removed.

Fortunately I don't have any of those coins. Most of them I have never even heard of such as TIT and UFO.

Great stuff, I think this is a good thing. Get rid of the crap scam coins that do nothing, have no purpose.....then we can RISE again!!
