BitShares price drastically rising.

Now on the DEX 6,61 BTS/bitUSD and BTS/BTC pair just trading above high of 21 May.
I thing we all (bitShares fans) dreamed about such prices since the start of BTS 2.0
To be honest I do not know what exactly is behind this surge. Too wild ride.

      BitShares is awesome. It can do almost same things as Ethereum, maybe more, and is still so cheap. Same as with Steem.

      When new people see the strengths of it, they want to buy, thus the price do increase! :)

      I hear a lot of hype about bitshares but I'm beginning to think it is the most overrated crypto on the market. I can't see any advantage it has over other cryptos and openledger is impossible to access here in China.

        It's faster than other cryptocurrencies. 1,000s of transactions per second. Decentralized exchange. Make yoir own coins, which are derivatives, which is the biggest market in the world by far. When traditional derivatives begin to move into the blockchain, where will they go? Not Bitcoin, it doesn't do them and is too slow. Maybe Ethereum, but Ethereum is also slow. It won't be able to handle the transaction volume, unless they make major changes.

        Oh, and did I mention no transaction fees? Same as Steem. Made by the same developer.

        openledger is not blocked. it is the google scripts used by open ledger that are blocked. It is the reason I never bought bitshares. There are plenty of good alternatives to choose from though I think.

        First of all, you need to contact your legislators as to why google scripts are blocked. Or we could discuss it if you'd prefer.

        BitShares TPS, BitShares interoperability, BitShares MPA, Steem, EOS capability, Self Governance Chain.

        well im in China so I don't know what good that would do. I just don't think bitshares is worth the hassle with so many cryptos equally good or better.
