@stan Larimer and Dylan Howard have done a great interview Chris and Danny from ‘The Crypto Show’.
The BitsharesUI worker proposal (which involves paying contributors for remediation of approved issues) has been a huge success with 21 issues being closed in the current sprint.
@bitspark has released part 2 of their plan to ‘Unbank the banked with Bitshares’.
@richcg has been working on an updated design for the Bitshares.org website.
@jeremypeng has announced that his small development team has been working on a Bitshares mobile wallet.
Developments on Bitshares and HERO I think... with Dan Larimer too.. I'll be listening to it and coming to the hangout tomorrow equipped with that information.
The goal is that fills should match as closely as possible to the actual price of each order matched on the book, and for a total size that does not exceed the quantity requested for a particular buy/sell pair, as illustrated below (I wanted 1 whalehole, why'd I get 10?!):
This solution attempts to address both these issues over multiple orders sitting on the book.
I think it could be successful in preventing exchanges from locking away hot wallet funds, however we've seen exchanges not move their cold wallet funds for 10 months solid in the past - such cold wallets may be locked away for an even greater share of voting power (if non-exchange users don't lock away their funds).
I think that such a proposal may cause smartcoin liquidity issues though an ultimate goal of successful smartcoin utilization is that less BTS are liquid. So it may be great for our mcap and voting system as long as users can perhaps receive smartcoins as an accelerated exit and if exchanges don't lock away cold storage funds.
Overall I like the idea more so than blacklisting accounts.

Hard Fork changes which have large economic consequences should come down to a vote, that and perhaps the branding/logos, otherwise it shouldn't be voted upon by the community.
Apart from the significance of the code change, I am curious about the "voting". To the best of my knowledge, a "binding vote" on a HF is a vote by stakeholders for (a) the witnesses who choose whether incorporate the HF, and possibly (b) for developers who might be funded by a worker proposal. Am I mistaken?
If I am correct, then "non-binding voting" by stakeholders is carried out on various channels either on forums, posts, et cetera as a means to indicate to witnesses and developers their preferences in a non-binding manner.
Thank you for your comment. I add the chinese tag because there is a very important chinese part of the bitshares and steem technology community and it is important i always keep them up to date. The easiest way to do so is to add the chinese tag. :)
LOL, don't get angry man! This guy posting is one of the earliest members of the Steemit and helped it achieve the mass adoption. So, maybe he does not need the advice and knows what he is doing. Between, I would invite you to translate his post to chinese and in return you can be given free tokens or whale upvote. What say, you like the offer?
1 pm utc is ok for me. Last time I could not make to the venue because of work. I am eager to take part. I wait for the post asking for proposals and I'll resend my project. Thanks!
am really looking forward to this hangout.i got some whaleshare token last hangout thanks to @akrid . @officialfuzzy thanks for your great support for minnows in this steemit community.peace
I have my bitshare wallet nazir-khyber can I use this for upvote on steemit or BTS ..... 2nd thing is can I convert BTS to steem or other inside BTS wallet.... Its good idea to have special platform @officialfuzzy .....
Hey @officialfuzzy, have you uploaded Bitshares Hangout #34 (18/08/2017) yet? What day do you usually upload the current weeks hangout and is it possible to listen in live?
During the month, 698,000 BTS were collected for 16,700,000 operations (within 3,280,000 transactions) on the blockchain. Approximately 49% of the operations were due to market order creations, and approximately 48% were for market order cancellations.
The leading distribution of operational fees paid/collected with BTS were as follows:
Lol. Because chinese community needs to be uo to date on the english speaking side of bitshares community. I chose the tag for good reason and u only hurt your community by trying to push people away from your community who are trying to build genuine value. ;)
Too many coins!!! Hehe, whaleshares and beyondbits are one of the most popular and powerful tokens on Steem. And these are not coins. You don't need to buy them, you get them for free from participating in various projects and contests. Later either u can sell them or just use them for upvotes on your quality posts!
I do have questions about BEYONDBIT and WHALESHARES, not exactly related to BTS. Does @officialfuzzy sell/buy tokens in open market at certain price or, it is the traders and winners (of competitions) trading them with BTS. The volume is very low, is there any chance for more supply from @officialfuzzy other than contest?
Excellent comment, I really like your work. I think it is very objective in the analysis and in what you want to convey. Thank you for sharing your knowledge with us.

Update on "Bitshares Taker Orders Working as Expected"
GitHub / bitshares-core Issue #342: Rounding issue when matching orders
The goal is that fills should match as closely as possible to the actual price of each order matched on the book, and for a total size that does not exceed the quantity requested for a particular buy/sell pair, as illustrated below (I wanted 1 whalehole, why'd I get 10?!):

Locking Away Stake for Voting
What might be the benefits and cons of locking away stake in order for stakeholders to vote on witnesses, committee member, and worker proposals?
We've been discussing this idea here: https://github.com/bitshares/bsips/issues/28#issuecomment-324512215

That is fine by me.

Thanks a bunch for sharing, namaste :)
My friend, a kind reminder here.
However, no chinese was detected in this article.
Please use wisely for your tag, thank you. #cn tag is stand for chinese.
Thank you for your comment. I add the chinese tag because there is a very important chinese part of the bitshares and steem technology community and it is important i always keep them up to date. The easiest way to do so is to add the chinese tag. :)
ok, I get it. By the way, do you need chinese translation to reach more chinese audience?

To be fair, this is a post which the cn community should pay attention to.
