Earlier this summer @Stan made a number of posts implying that a big marketing firm was at work spending lots of money on mainstream ads for bitshares to power the Billion Hero Challenge. To date I have not witnessed any of this marketing and @Stan has been silent on promoting the challenge. What gives?
He hasn't been silent at all, that's all he is talking about.
The thing, in my opinion, is that the goal of billion hero challenge is really big and audacious, and in order to succeed, it has to be as smooth of a ride as possible. Stuff like that takes a lot of time to prepare and organize.

You'll see that currently all the hype and promoting happens only here, in front of the local community. They will start working on gaining media attention in coming months, after they switch to the new website
