in #bitshares7 years ago

Next news for today after Airbitz 2FA Ann.

You can now deposit OMG and EOS as 3rd party UIA to BitShares and trade against all available pairs including for example bitUSD and BitShares

grateful for sharing this information.

Curious if Gateway will be handling registration for the tokens that remain there after they are frozen. Please get them in contact with me (self-upvoted for practical purposes)

Finally added eos.

If you deposit the EOS to Bitshares, do you still need to register the tokens?

what do you mean with "register the tokens"?

oh yeah, BitShares is an exchange. @j4y you have to withdraw and register EOS key when the time has come

Technically OL Gateway could register the tokens for its holders, then distribute the native tokens accordingly. But they would need to plan for this. That said, there is a fallback (pending, unproven), but I doubt they would want to export their gateway's ethereum private key to exercise the fallback (unless they use a unique ETH address for each ETH token)

yep, or they just disable the asset at one point.

you can ask for info in their telegram https://t.me/OpenLedgerDC

Tried to, they gave me an attitude so I left.

I thought you had to register the EOS tokens or they wouldn't be considered valid:

People need to see this animation! Also to go to Steem and transfer their funds. Oh and why is SBD not there anymore?

Bitshares is founded by steemit founder as well. It's worth investing.

And the 100 000 BTS question: Will I be able to map them to the crowdsale using my BTS keys?

Can we ALSO WITHDRAW the tokens?

When is LISK gonna be added?

I went to try to send my EOS to bitshares and it looks like it has been temporarily suspended:
