It's true! You see a lot of people claiming that they have made thousands of money by investing in Bitcoin and other Alt Coins. I am not in a position to question that. However, to do this for sure you need to spend a lot of time to understand the market. You also have to be lucky to get the right timing. And ultimately - you need to put your money at risk.
As Web Developers can do away with that. Why waste time in trying to figure out another trade and try to be lucky, when we can use our core skills? Better still with very minimal capital expenditure. We can invest our time in doing what we know: building platforms to satisfy consumer needs.
You can easily say that there's an online solution for everything nowadays. But definitely, not all online platforms accept Alt Coins as a method of payment. So there's your opportunity!
Study a working platform. If it aligns with one of your hobbies or interests it's even better. Make a plan and ... start coding! Ensure that currently there isn't another Digital Currency based solution providing the same services. Being first in the market is what will make your platform stand out. If you have a really good idea, you may even find investors straight away for it.
What's even more positive about this approach is that you are not simply speculating with currency - you are actively creating value and contributing to the Digital Currency Revolution!
On top of all you should feel pride. Treat your platform as your baby - work harder to see it soundly growing.
