Gentlemen,
I use the term loosely, but if you leave a constructive comment then you're definitely a gentleman, and a scholar. I digress, the issue at hand is the difference between the Ripple platform, Ripple technology if you will, and the XRP token.
I'd like to start off by saying that 2 months ago I was heavily invested in the "XRP token." I was publishing tons of blockchain related content, a large part of that, supporting Ripple Labs, and its CEO Mr. Brad Garlinghouse. I made numerous Ripple Price Predictions, and XRP Performance Forecasts, all supporting the idea that the XRP token, as well as the underlining technology were both to be adopted by numerous banks, and financial institutions. Many of these banks, based on the news, we're based in Japan, and were to go live over the summer. These banks include The Mizuho Financial Group, one of Japan’s largest banks; Resona Bank, and the Bank of Yokohama, the largest regional bank in Japan.
Press releases keep coming down the pipeline, but many are just supporting Q2 earnings reports, overstating Ripples incredible 4000% rise in 2017. This has obviously come to a halt.
Why did it come to a half? Banks are adopting the Ripple Technology but not the XRP token. I explain this in more detail in this video:
So will XRP reach $0.40 again? Of course, but would I consider it a stable investment that will outperforme Bitcoin, and/or Ethereum? Well... no.

Good points in this article. I was about to post a similair thread. The blockchain is here to stay. No matter what any crypto will do in the upcoming years. I think that's a conclusion we can make by now. I really advice people to take a look at: https://www.coincheckup.com This site is really helpful in my coin research. I don't know any other sites with so much indepth analysis. Check for example: https://www.coincheckup.com/coins/Ripple#analysis For the Ripple Investment research report.
