finally posted. Forex is difficult for me to day trade, while long term costs a lot in commission. Most likely would trade futures as well for long term if only had deep enough pockets :) All my analysis are based largely on volumes and market profile, so forex require a lot of adaptation for me. And I don't really know how implement my trading in cryptos yet as well :) so kind of limited in my products for trading.

Well, for forex...I'm not into scalping...there's to much volatility for bad %ROI vs Risk. I left , Futures, due to bad volatility when market broke that last highs. After what, when to stocks, swing, options ( but demand lot's of capital for selling...), ended with Forex , cause I was told, if you learn how to trade forex, you are the "king" lol... but it took me lot's of time to adapt. About a years and half... ended by learning and create my own system and methodology of market. I personally think...there's no best instrument. The key, it's to find what fits your "vision of desire life style"

Most successful traders who I personally know (not online) are also Forex traders. But cost of trading... I just cannot accept it especially if trading something else besides EURUSD, GBPUSD. I remember I hold USDRUB for 4-5 months, it took 50$ for out of 300$ profits. I guess it was 0.1 lot (an equivalent of 1000$), in futures it would cost 8$ for me, but it is also approximately 41 time more (something around 41k$ per contract), so this would turn out to be 2000$ in costs through forex broker. But of course I didn't have enough money to trade this amount in case it would go against me, so the only option was forex for me, as for most retail traders anyway. :)
