1 MB blocks are a joke and will continue to be a joke.
Increasing blocksize != giving up decentralization.
For example, lets say we go to 10 MBblocks today and they are always full, well that only adds 5TB of blockchain storage in 10 years. A 10 TB harddrive is like less than 120 bucks these days. The internet required to download 10 MB every 10 minutes is something less than a few mbps and same for upload.
My xbox has 2 TB in it. My external HDD has 5 TB in it for like 60 bucks. I stream Netflix in 1080 P which uses something like 20 to 30 mbps download speed(could download a 10 MBblock in 5 seconds). We all download upgrades for our xbox/playstation/PC games that are GB worth of data without a thought. New phones are 32gb and 64gb standard when they used to be 1 2 or 4 gb. Windows updates can be GB downloads on a monthly basis.
We all do things that require 100 to 1000x more download/upload speed than would be required for a 10 MB block every 10 minutes on average.
It is that simple, you are continuously lied to about needing to stay at 1 MB blocks.
BCH is the real Bitcoin... m'just sayin...
Though I have not looked too closely at it, I think technically BitcoinClassic is closer to the whitepaper than BitcoinCash is. Forgive me if I am wrong on that though, it has been a long time since I looked at BitcoinClassic.
I agree that BCH is closer to the whitepaper than BTC. BTC is hijacked by a bunch of people who werent there in the beginning and are all rent seekers.
ahh good source :0 thank you!
Bitcoin is part of the system. It has a corporate name. It is required By Sec rules to gather ID information. All in my opinion for the purpose of being able to refuse service to anyone who pisses them off. After all what do you think it means to have the right to do business with whom you want. LOL
exactly :)
ever tried to go deeper?
like into the ocean?
