Blockchain Reserve Bi-annual meetup

Blockchain Reserve is running this event where everyone is welcome to come and join us.  The event will take place on May 22 at WeWork South Bank (London). We will gather experts in the industry to give us their insights, introduce The Reserve Syndicate (Blockchain Reserve’s new compliant contribution pool), and discuss Verv, a P2P energy and data trading protocol backed by the UK government.

About the speakers:

Peter Davies - Verv: Peter is a serial entrepreneur with an engineering background and a degree in computer science and electronics. Peter runs the UK’s highest certified LabVIEW Consultancy specialising in automated measurement, analysis and control systems for the likes of Rolls-Royce, Mercedes Benz F1, Caterpillar and the Julich Nuclear Fusion Reactor. He is also CEO of Green Running, that are a UK Government backed blockchain energy trading network - with existing live, regulated trading projects in the UK.

Phillip Young - Gibraltar Stock Exchange (GBX): Philip Young has over 26 years investment industry experience. He began his career in investment banking before moving to investment management where he spent 10 years with a start-up hedge fund and principal emerging market private equity firm. Philip is a founding team member of the Gibraltar Stock Exchange, which was awarded its regulatory license in 2015. The GSX recently launched the Gibraltar Blockchain Exchange, as part of a global initiative to introduce best practices and regulatory higher standards to token sales, and the emerging tokenised economy. The GBX shall be launching its token sale platform and cryptocurrency exchange in 2Q 2018.
