Researchers have found child porn - child abuse - content embedded in the Bitcoin blockchain. This is disturbing news that this type of material can even be stored in what is supposed to be a digital financial ledger system, a system that was designed to not be altered. If it can't be altered then this material cannot be removed.
The FUD and legal ramifications can be serious so this needs to be discussed and a potential solution or legal way out needs to be considered.
Can miners or node operators be charged when you know that they won't be viewing anything here?
