• Bitcoin!

Bitcoin is the king of all cryptocurrency and in my thought it will always be. There is a big reason for that, it is because a global payment network must be decentralized. Most coins keep a lot of supply before releasing it to public, they will mine a lot of their token before telling everyone about it. This will make the coin centralized to some extent and team of the coin can dump the coin at anytime. This is what should not happen for a payment system and for store of value. Bitcoin has first mover advantage and upcoming lightning network might solve scaling problem in bitcoin making bitcoin better and a real payment system with less fees and instant transaction.

• Ethereum!

It is sure we need a platform to build dapp and smart contract. Ethereum has first mover advantage in the space and they have one of the most skilled developers in their system and with their Ethereum 2.0 they are planning to solve scaling solution in Ethereum blockchain.

• Cardano!

Competitors like EOS having issues with decentralization and Neo with regulatory issue, I think cardano will be performing well in long term!

• Monero / Zcash

We need privacy coin, either it is monero or Zcash or Verge, we need one privacy coin for sure. My vote goes for Monero and Zcash in the list of Privacy coin. Privacy is what we all are seeking here in blockchain and privacy coins are fuel to it!

• Steem

Steem is one of the most undervalued blockchain. While most blockchain platform (which are not clone of steemit) don't need their token steemit network framework (graphene) is an revolutionary idea. With the release of SMT's developers will be able to release their own SMT to fuel their ecosystem.

Bonus

• Elastos!

Elastos is building their own internet which is scale able to IOT and their token will be the fuel for their ecosystem. Elastos is doing a lot of things behind the scenes.
