my take: eos is causing a lot of FOMO. thus, people are selling.
as the market is cooling down, holders of btc are converting back to fiat for fear they might have been in a bubble.

otherwise, i don't see the problem. unless, some economic analysis came out recently saying we are in the green and holders of crypto find it unnecessary to hold btc, which i doubt is the case.
