I am not so sure Bitcoin will keep going up. There are other coins that are more functional and people may actually take that into consideration. I am prepared to be totally wrong and I don't hold much of anything anyway.

I think the fact that bitcoin hasn't changed much is exactly what gives it appeal as a store of value. If it was constantly being tweaked and updated, people would lose trust in it. I think the lack of development is a feature rather than a bug when you want something to be digital gold.
I never looked at it that way, but good point.
According to Lee, that is something the look at. When it was down 80% many thought it would never come back.
Plus bitcoin has survived in a swamp for a decade now and still remains king, that says a lot right there.
