If you bought Bitcoins worth 5 dollars 7 years ago, you would be a millionaire now

Hello Community,

bitcoin has been around for less than a decade. And yet the virtual currency has immensely increased in popularity and value.
Seven years ago the bitcoin value was still less than a cent - now the crypt is worth more than 2,200 US dollars. During this period the value has therefore increased by 879,999 times.

In order to illustrate this immense figure somewhat better: If you'd only had five US dollars invested in about 2,000 bitcoins then these would be worth 4.4 million US dollars today. A little higher investment of $ 1,200 for 480,000 Bitcoins would have cost you at least $ 1 billion, seven years later.

Yep. Could definately happen again with a few of these new coins. The question is... which ones? ;)

@valderrama ripple, Bitshares ?

I'm hoping on ripple. Don't see that happening though... :(

Don't know about Bitshares. Perhaps NEO can make a real dent in the Chinese marketplace.

I agree it can happen again more if the US dollar collapses or mass adoption occurs

I read a lot about this. Quite interesting. I only wish I was introduced to Crypto Currencies way back in those days. I'd be a Millionaire by now. Huehuehue

It is not too late However, a large amount is very expensive. Bitcoin still has the potential to rise many times
