I think this is interesting,
I'm holing bitcoin for now, because I think it is going to go up,
In the near future. And even if it would go to like below 5k, even then I still could make a profit of of it, Because my invested money in bitcoin is not that much, and its come purely of off steem.

I want to go into altcoins aswell, but I have not done enough research yet.
Many of these alt coins seem to try to improve their ways of
transactions, but none are traded into commodity goods. And they just seem to only be backed by their ability to trade back to dollar or bitcoins,
wich keeps bitcoin essential.

Btw can't fully backup that last claim,
But since up until now I've only used bittrex it seems that way.
