Good post, but I have to ask... 4 days after writing this, how you like ETH now? hehe :) Upvoted and followed.

As long as ETH is under $500 and the general blockchain climate is positive, I'm loving it.
Why under $500? My tongue-in-cheek comment was assuming you were HODLing quite a bit, and with last weeks run, that at the time of my comment, you had suddenly done VERY well. :)
Yep, that was a great run up : )
I think value investing makes sense here and my current valuation of ETH is ~$550, so using a $50 margin of safety. Until I have reason to believe that the underlying value has changed (Casper progress, competitors failing, etc), I won't invest at a much higher price.
Makes sense to me. I actually got out of ETH a few days too soon, but it's okay, I am not as big a fan of it's tech, and I prefer to mess around in specialized purpose built alt coins like SIA, LBRC, STEEM and things that have sort of specific software applications in play already. It's easier for me to wrap my head around tokens with specific applications that I can monitor, and since I'm doing fairly fast intra-day trading a good bit of the time, I feel more comfortable with short term news and short term moves than longer HODLs on spec. I've lost some major opportunities that way, but I need income now, to live on, as opposed to storing value for future growth. So I do this as a job, not an adventure :) And yes, I often regret not holding the right things at the right times, like BTC last month or ETH last week. But I keep my bills paid right now, and that's what matters to me for the moment.
