The ability to transfer Bitcoin so easily across the world is why I think it is only going to continue to rise, but you can never go wrong investing in gold. The stability is unparalleled as you mentioned and it will always be a valuable asset to hold. Over a span of 20 years or so you will never lose money on gold.
