The world's most popular bitcoin manufacturer American Open Currency Standards (AOCS) has partnered with Singaporean company Rearden Metals, with plans on delivering its promise to bring forth cold storage coins™.

This will provide a novel and secure way for newcomers and veterans alike to protect BTC and other cryptocurrencies, whilst making it extremely accessible.

This cold storage coin has been deemed to have made the perfect entrance in view of the recent spate of hacked wallets and lost private keys/forgotten passwords and exchanges going bankrupt.

these coins will offer a uniquely high level of security yet highly accessible.
they will be available in a variety of precious metals:

Copper ( i think this should be bronze really )
Silver
Gold

Each coin will come with its own unique wallet ID with a laser-etched QR code private key, concealed beneath the best possible tamper resistant holographic film. They also claim these coins are flood, corrosion and Fire proof up to 1700F

Now you can the best of both world not only with a cold storage wallet holding your crypto coins but the added bonus of the coin being made out of a precious metal, so if all else fails you can always sell the coin!!

Interesting, I have seen bitcoin is slowly and silently increasing in value.

Yes, my btc horde is slowly increasing in value,

The good thing being is that this has duel purpose one for coin collectors!! and i Think our mutaul friend will like that for his coin collection, as well as a way of storing his steem possibly as well as other crypto currencies on his coin at the same time!!!

this is really cool!!!! so -it's not just digital??? but something to actually hold too! i want some! hehehehehe

I was just reading a post the other day about someone who had inherited a bitcoin miner... and the man who owned it had passed away without giving the keys of his mined crypto to anyone! gahhhhhhhh!!!!! this would definitely help with something like that !!!! I wonder what happens to all the crypto that just sits there, unclaimed?

Yes its both functional as a cold storage wallet and it has the inherent value of the gold, silver or bronze!!

Yes it must be interesting to see what happens to all those miners or accounts that people lose their keys to them. So far as i am aware if they are lost then they are just unrecoverable so its in limbo eternally. Unless the person remembers the keys. The most important thing is to store you keys in a safe place to ensure you dont lose them some people use bank vaults etc.

by the way.... my voting power is up to 79% hahahaha did you see that LOVELY 5 cent upvote i gave you????? LOLOLOL

and it only took being on vacation to let it recharge ;) that won't last long hahahaha

That’s excellent maybe after you’re back afterthe whole holiday you will be back to 100% for at least a few hours :)
