#AltsAreBack - Which altcoins/cryptos are you looking forward to or holding?

in #bitcoin8 years ago (edited)

Hey everyone! Seems like Steemit has been making waves around the cryptocurrency community at large and it only felt right that for my first ever post, we'd start off with a discussion on altcoins or cryptocurrencies (or, if you please, shitcoins!).

Which are you currently holding as we await #AltsAreBack Summer 2016 Edition? Bitcoin has halved and some believe that alts are way overdue for a nice run up! What do you all think?

If you aren't very familiar with bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies, then I hope this thread turns into a great start for you.

Honestly, right now there is only one coin I am pretty excited about and mostly because I own quite a bit of it - XCT (C-Bit). It is tradable on C-cex and has recently gone through a sort of community takeover after the initial development team ran away during a challenging time for the coin early on. But it is starting to look healthier, that's for sure.

I like Bitcoin, Litecoin, Monero, Steem, Decred, and Sia

I need to look into Monero some more again. Some months ago I made a few bucks on it on Polo, but it did seem like the type to hold for a while.

I think it is pretty solid. It has the best currently existing anonymity technology, with plans of improving it oncer Ring CT is implemented. It is more straightforward and has a more fair distribution than Zcash, which is its closest competitor in the anonymous transaction space.

I've done well with Solar coin, Argentum coin, Quatloo coin, Tesla coin, but the fastest growing one so far is STEEM. I hope it continues the fast pace!

Ethereum
MaidSafeCoin
I think MaidSafe can make a big impact on the internet if it ever comes fully online.

How did you get it to show up with their symbols like that?

just right click on a any picture form the internet and select "copy image address" and paste it into the reply box.

Ah cool, I thought it was some sort of Steemit feature for some reason.

nope, just my feature.
