There are also rumours of the project being abandonned. This comes from a reddit post.

Having looked at the repo I'd say there is still activity but most of the code is 2 years old. Apparently they didn't need to fix many bugs in 2 years. It's difficult to says if it's significant or not though. Some apparently useful files have recent updates.
