Bitcoin is struggling with support/resistance area $13.000-$15.000.
A break above $15.000 could indicate a challenge of the lower high, nr. 11 @ 17/18.000 area.
A break below key support $13.000 area, could lead to finishing nr. 12 down, support zone $8.000 - $10.000.

POLL - WHAT WILL COME FIRST: BITCOIN $10.000 OR $18.000? --> http://tripstrading.com/2018/01/14/bitcoin-10k-or-18k-what-will-come-first/

I'm thinking $10,000. Bitcoin is struggling a lot, especially with transaction fees that have shot up around $20. It's outdated technology, and it's very likely that something like EOS will eventually replace it. In the shorter term, it looks like Ethereum might be a temporary replacement for it. I've never seen Bitcoin struggle so much until the leadership changed and they held unto the old blocksize. I'm not going to be investing into it anymore.
Yes, I fully understand what you're saying. I;m also struggling with this: who will take over in the long run? LTC? EOS? Wish I knew...
I do not agree bitcoin will be losing it value in the far future. Bitcoin is ancestor of any other cryptocurrency. If Bitcoin failed alt coin will failed as well. No one will willingly see bitcoin loss. I believe bitcoin value will keep increase in future as long the code don't change. The slower it is the higher value in the future. Bitcoin is like a big note bulky but high value, other bitcoin forks like bitcoin cash, bitcoin LN is smaller note with lesser value. Soon there will be more forks is just like bitcoin grandchild, faster and suitable to transfer or micro payment.
Bitcoin will lose its value in the far future
Why do you think that?
And what will be the new Crypto King?
You could be correct, as I also wonder which crypto will survive and become nr. 1,2,3 etc two years from now.
So far, I stick to ETH, LTC, BTC as cornerstone of my crypto assets and I add some speculation through ICO's that I like and already have a working business model.
