Nazi Fighter to Die in US Federal Prison

in #bitcoin7 years ago (edited)

Dr. Henri Wetselaar, 93, fought the Nazis in his native Netherlands during WWII, then he fought them again in 2017, but this time he lost. Wetselaar will go to a hearing tomorrow morning at the Federal Courthouse in Las Vegas prior to begin serving a 20 year sentence for allowing people to determine what substances they can put in their own bodies.

The Feds, in all their mercy, will send him to an east coast prison, far away from his family. This is known as "diesel therapy" needless transport of prisoners as a means of enhanced punishment. Dr. Wetselaar will most likely die shackled to a hospital bed, the same way that Irwin Schiff died.

The DOJ has also seized hundreds of thousands of dollars in bullion and coins which Dr Wetselaar has collected over several decades. You know. Because of the Drug War. These are assets that his family could have used to help with legal fees and to be able to help them travel so they could visit him and advocate for him during his final days in whatever hell hole the Feds decide to take him to, but the government gets to steal from them without due process. It's a horror story which reinforces the importance of using cryptocurrency as long term store of wealth.
