Bitcoin: Turkish amateur club claim cryptocurrency transfer first

A Turkish amateur side claim they are the first football club to have paid for a player with cryptocurrency.

Omer Faruk Kıroglu was rewarded 0.0524 in Bitcoin (£384.12 at 18:00 GMT) and 2,500 Turkish lira (£467.30) to join Harunustaspor, who compete in the Sakarya First Division Group B.

January was not a good month for cryptos. Let’s just hope that the month of February will be good for the crypto market. At the moment #hodl is the most common word used in the crypto space.

This is good news for cryptos. Hope they start selling ticket in cryptos. With all these regulations coming up the market is looking really bad right now

I believe cryptocurrency has come to replace fiat currencies. The regulations are created to reduce risk of fraud. Give it sometime cryptos will be back to normal. For me I will say stick to steem/sbd. Just Incase you want to buy

It's an unavoidable financial revolution. Every serious minded enterprise cannot but think, plan and or do something about it.
