LOL idek wtf is going on. This seems like a battle of good vs evil, but I'm so new (been here a week) idk who's good & who's evil.

Anyone care to point me in the direction, as a noob, to how steemit is "supposed to work" & why there is some weird ass battle over seemingly content/steem here that I don't really get. but would love to understand more?
