I am holding my btc in a Electrum wallet !
The plan is to dump half BCC and rebuy lower ! BCC is another alt but since someone is buying there are chances to do something , after all is free money right ??
@matt-a - HONESTLY - I think I'm in a shit of trouble dude - I don't hold trash bags full of coins - and started out on Poloniex because of the user-friendly aspect long ago - then noticed that the walls, the buy/sell proves didn't equate to real time and am certain that they are in on the pump schemes just as much if not more than the largest whale pump groups or single whales..
Last night like an idiot I tried to transfer BTC to Poloniex only because Coinbase said there may be no withdrawals temporarily.. And because I've been trying other exchanges but haven't had much better yet as a mobile trader.
Chose Coinbase as most secure I thought for US holders and not to use exchanges to hold BTC
Coinbase does not as far as I read
I think my remaining BTC in Coinbase will be safe as it's a US company but ya never know

Thoughts of the fork? I don't even understand how it will work or how any entity could double BCCC at 1:1 with BTC holding its value as many predictions I've heard have said.
Gameplan - Follow the advice of people like you who know way more about it than me.
Wildcard - Even though I despise Pump and Dump schemes - I was quite impressed how many coins were successfully pumped all at once - a good 20-25 on Poloniex with 4-6 hours of continual Pumps - I made a few ducketd following the money and do like the very straight 45 degree angle line for. STEEM - up until about 30 minutes ago - was praying STEEMIT wasn't getting pumped to dumpy -

I put my BTC into Bitfinex to trade into alts once trading is back. Get some bitshares, EOS or something with potential! I do want that BTC-U, are they really taking a snapshot that same day?
Jaxx will support it and they are fairly safe, so I will move it there if I can get the 3rd, better coin haha.. As always cold wallets or hardware wallets are the best. I'm lazy and I have faith though!
So I traded some of my alts into BTC so I can sell off after the fork into alts, expecting them to start rising pretty quickly again. Hopefully it works out. Open to suggestions or counter theories though!?
EOS! Well, we all know where that's going . . . The alpha and the omega . . . until technology evolves again, but I think it is truly setting the stage for something absolutely fierce. In my opinion, it's going to run the game for the foreseeable future.
As for BTC-U, I have no idea. Maybe someone like @ash or @stan will chime in? I know they're planning on a snapshot at least, unsure of a concrete date, however.
me either. I got all excited when I read it, but I dont think enough preparation or planning went into it.. If I do here from Stan though and he says its happening I will move my BTC to Jaxx ASAP so I can get 3 coins. I like the idea of a better bitshare bitcoin

i have $200 Australian dollars worth of Bitcoin on Coinjar exchange and have no experience - i don't know if i can open a wallet fast enough that would support the new coin and am not sure how to send it there either if i open one? I think with such a small balance it might not qualify for any new coin anyway but i dont know anything. Thanks for dropping in on my post Matt, i appreciate that so i came to see who you are. David

I still don't know what is going on fully so have exchanged any Bitcoin out into other coins, including Steem. Litecoin has been fairly stable price wise. However, nothing is a safe bet and I hope everyone knows that, and enjoy the ride.

If you h(o)(e)ld Bitcoin, you might be interested in safely storing it so that you're part of the August 1st snapshot so that you can claim your portion of the fork (BCC) and potentially BTC-U as well.
Doing this to drum up some discussion so people can have a place to mull over ideas, strategies, concerns, etc. and help one another out.

And then i have something about bcc, what do you think how deep will the dump go? I sold mine bcc at around 800 Usd and i saw it dropped below 300 Usd. Could you imagine we will see something like 80 dollars?

Honestly, I chose to remove my upvote from it because I found out that the photo of the elephants wasn't actually your original work and you had just ran tensorflow on someone else's work. Your post makes it seem like it is all your original work and there's no credit to the original artist.

In the future, you may want to credit original artists. Your posts make it sound like you painted these photos and then ran tensorflow on it. If/when people find out about this, they will probably flag you since many people will see this as plagiarism :-/. Just trying to give good advice.

Thanks for the nice answer. Jeah i looked for this reason, because i thought there is something behind. I was interested what it could be. Seems it's the first post, that you saw, but yeah, that's what i'm doing, i'm using some basic 420 lines code and feeding it with images for about 3 weeks now. I wan't to figure out if it's possible to create better art with ai, then humans can do. Marked this in the last posts and i will copy it back into the signature maybe. So I'm really thankfull for your answer, because other people may think the same way and it's no problem for giving credits, if i have the source.
Well, I'm not pretty sure about BCC. I'm dealing with cryptocurrency since a few years and there are happening many things, the people don't expect. I'm bit worried about the hash rate and the block solution time, but i think on the longterm bcc will be a pretty good invest. Just speculating to some lower drop, maybe 80 USD or something, and i will buy in again. For now i moved my invest into tenx and well, they had a good day today ;D
In whole i don't taking profit from my wins, just split them into other currencies, since i think we will pay with them mainly in future. I wrote some thesis (im glad it's not in english xD) about the adoption of electronic cash and the possible adoption of cryptocurrency in the same way, influated by the speed up of develoption. If i think about Kurzweils Singularity Hypothesis, i can't imagine a future working without this digital tokens. Hope to see you ;)
