If you are into Bitcoin at all, you know over the past week the entire Crytocurrency community has been waiting for the light to shine through the dark skies, and put some bull back into the market.

Early this morning...we may have seen the light, as well as the bear heading back into his cave for a bit!

If the rumours are true, Amazon may be accepting Bitcoin at its online stores as early as October.

The prospect of the largest online retailer in North America accepting the top crypto would be another huge push for Bitcoin. It would surely also increase the mainstream adoption, having many new adoptees becoming introduced to the crypto right there on the Amazon webpage.

Either way this is a good thing for Bitcoin in the long run as well as current holders!

The news comes from author and activist blogger James Altucher. He claims the retail giant will be accepting the coin as early at October 26th.

In 2016 Amazon worked with Digital Currency Group, one of the largest investors in Bitcoin to "provide such a service so the blockchain providers in DCG’s portfolio can work in a secure environment with clients who include financial institutions, insurance companies and enterprise technology companies.”

Altucher claims Amazon is "working with financial institutions an [cryptocurrency experts] to spur innovation and facilitate frictionless experimentation."

Amazon and other massive companies are slowly realizing the huge potential that Bitcoin and blockchain technologies are bringing to the table. Most are hoping to become involved in the emerging tech, being able to take advantages of the future possibilities they offer.

We should hear something from Amazon in the next few days...something tells me Bitcoin will be bouncing back to new heights, very soon!
