RE: STARTING UP ;)

in #bitcoin7 years ago

I have a couple suggestions.

  1. For steemit, try and use all 5 tags, so when people are searching for something, there are a few ways they can run into your post.

  2. For cryptocurrency, always start with coinmarketcap. Each crypto, when clicked on will bring you to their history page, which should contain the Announcement page on the right hand side which will bring you to the bitcointalk alt section. From there, you'll need to do some reading. Find out how the coin works, who is behind the project, and get the general feel of the community behind it.

  3. Anyone telling you to invest in something, is probably making a gain of some kind from you buying in as well, so when people suggest a coin, it might be for their benefit, and not yours.

Just some things to think about... maybe some of that helps...
Good luck out there, and try not to spend more than you can afford to lose, as no one knows what the future holds for any cryptocurrency yet.

But, that's just what I think....

Hey @madhatt thanks for the suggestions honestly just found out about this system and signed up as quick as I could :) I realise now that I definitely need to look into both the system itself and steem as a whole, but honestly thanks for commenting didn't realise anyone would :)

Ya, there are a few posts about steemit around that will give you the idea of how to use it.
Stuff like @randowhale can be used to a users advantage if done right.
The more you participate in the steemit community, the more it gives back. I suggest being polite, helpful, and honest when ever possible... but, again, I havent been here long, and Im still figuring out the ropes.

My best tip for this place, is to introduce yourself.
Make a post about you, put in some pictures from the area... talk about stuff you enjoy... people like to learn about their writers on this platform. Use the tag introduceyourself

But... again, just suggestions...

Sent you 1SBD as a welcome...

Wow thanks just got it this morning! :)
