Something that has become very obvious to me in the last months is that the crypto space is just as bad as facebook when it comes to spreading fake news & mis(& dis)information.
Dont jump on or off a coin as soon as you read a positive/negative article about it.
MAKE NO MISTAKE, this land of plenty is RIFE with scammers & snakeoil salesmen.
There are a bunch of pyramid schemes in the form of crypto.
BUYER BEWARE!!

Great advice. Gotta do your own due diligence. Lot's of pump and dumps out there. Those people are going to give cryptos a bad name, and it will hurt new investment money entering the crypto space. Chain coin was one that a lot people lost money on...gotta be smart with your investments. Good luck.

Can you give an example??

EOS would be a good start.
From what I've heard even if the EOS platform becomes the next big thing, on the whitepaper it states that the EOS tokens can not be used on the EOS platform & hold no value basically.
But EOS aside, go to any Facebook, reddit, or ,Steem page devoted to a certain coin & all you will see is great news!! You're gonna be rich!!
Any negative comments are trolled & commenters blocked under the banner of "FUD" or "troll" or "loser that didn't get into the coin before it shot up"
We need more people in this space but we risk losing them if their first experience with crypto is losing their shirts.
We gotta help & make noobs aware

Crypto space and the internet are not the only sources of Fake News... how about CNN, NBC, CBS...etc. etc.

Its all around us. Critical thinking is the key
