I admit I'm a noob... It's not my fault, but the old me.

I can admit it... I'm a rookie. A n00b, nubtard... I gave crypto currency a try back in early 2014 when Bitcoin was about $30 a coin. I remember almost verbatim, the quote of what I told myself... "I can't justify $120 of my hard earned real money for 4 coins of this digital money." Man was that a mistake.

I literally forgot about cryptos for like 3 years. Seriously, forgot I ever even looked into it. About May 26th I read an article of how Bitcoin just passed $2200. !!! "What!?"

So needless to say I am waist high in cryptos again. This time on some for real, I've learned some adult lessons and know how to foresee the future a little better, lol.

I got sucked into the Ethereum / ETH hype. ETH was $177.00 the day I got into it, and it jumped to $230 quickly after. So I picked up a handful as a headstart to my plans to start mining.

We're a day or two after my first month of mining. I've only tripled my GPU horsepower since then, added a second full system. NiceHash running on CPU's generating a little bonus BTC on the side on spare resources...

This is pretty sweet, but I'm starting to see the hassles involved keeping it running full time. Summer storms rolling through, and power blinking out for 10 secs sets me back like 15 minutes. UGH, lol. Going to work fulltime everyday got me checking my miner performances during work and freaking out if the graph starts dipping hard, wondering if one of my machines crashed from being unstable or what...

I align myself with the long term hold strategy. I completely get the buy low sell high game, & more power to you if that's your deal. I'd rather put a ton of chips in and hold long term and see what happens. Crypto currency is making me feel like I could actually have a comfortable financial future if I'm smart about the investments.

ETH is one of my favorites in general, the hype has made it fun to watch the charts. Glad I was able to get involved seemingly early in its life, HODL!
BTC is cool, I like how it boomed in value and is holding decently past $2000. HODL.
LTC is boss. This is going to the moon. HODL.
SC is new and promising. Have high hopes for this one.
