How to add Crypto payments to YOUR SHOPIFY ACCOUNT

Finally the day has come that you can easily allow people to pay with crypto (down side its through coinbase not a huge fan). Its is a two part process

1. Create an ecommerce account at
   https://commerce.coinbase.com

2. Change your shopify setting to accept payment by adding API key

1. Setting up your https://commerce.coinbase.com is like any other. You have to write down and save your recovery phrase. IF YOU LOOSE THIS YOUR ACCOUNT IS GONE FOREVER.

Once you set it up follow these steps

1. From the Dashboard select setting
   

2. Bottom right corner select create API settings
   

3. Click reveal
   

4. Copy and past your API
   

Next Steps on Shopify

1. Bottom Left select click setting. Then click payment providers
   

2. Go to alternate payment options. Select coinbase commerce. Enter your email with coinbase commerce. Enter API key. Select "show" box
   
   

3. On check out this is what you will see
