Is Twitter Censoring Bitcoin?

Is Twitter censoring tweets about Cash App's new Bitcoin feature? I wrote a storyhere. But then something weird happened. It looks like he got four replies almost immediately. The conversation icon that indicates replies shows the number 4. But when you click on the tweet, you don't see any replies. And when you click on "More Replies" (which usually indicates that some replies were considered low-value and thus hidden), you don't see anything there either. Here's what we're both seeing: about how Cash App is now using Bitcoin. My husband, @JustDerek, shared the story on Twitter

See how there's a number 4 next to the conversation icon, but NO replies to be found? Twitter hides replies that it deems less relevant, but supposedly you can still see them if you click on "More Replies." If this isn't a glitch, it means that some replies might be hidden permanently.

I know Bitcoin and Steemit censorship is being seen more and more on Facebook and Twitter. Is this another example? Or could it possibly just be a weird glitch? Let me know if you've experienced anything like this before.

Cash app is now the easiest way to buy Bitcoin. Read my wife's article about it here: heavy.com/tech/2018/01/c…twitter.com/i/web/status/9…

They might be private accounts or actual bots. I think bots really go for trending things.
If it is censorship, just makes me want to hodl even more!

Would definitely be grounds for hodl for sure! But that's an interesting point about bots. We looked closer into the tweet's stats and found that yes, there definitely are four replies, and no we can't see them. And I hadn't thought about private accounts either. Hmm, that might explain it.
