"My deepest thanks to the US government, Senator McCain and Senator Lieberman for pushing Visa, MasterCard, Paypal, AmEx, Moneybookers, et al, into erecting an illegal banking blockade against @WikiLeaks starting in 2010. It caused us to invest in Bitcoin -- with > 50000% return."
These are good times for the Wikileaks founder Julian Assange who tweeted a very joyful news of his huge gains in an investment he was forced into by the US government.
He published the tweet alongside a screenshot of bitcoin price chart, with the chart spanning the period from July 2001 to October 14, 2017 from Coindesk.
This was the period when the price of Bitcoin was $0.06 and as since risen to an ATH of $5,800. Giving a total percentage increase of more than 9 million points.

Now, who's laughing?
I really wonder what life for Julian Assange looks like. Blackmail? Threats? I guess that's the trade for knowing for about the world than most people.
he know too much that he is considered a threat to many nations.
they say when one door closes another one open which better than the previous one , and with bitcoin rising everyday Assange will make even more money, the blockade was a blessing in disguise. the disruption of FIAT money has already began and their is no stopping it
