Investing in ICOs ? Lets see How they Are Doing!

in #bitcoin7 years ago (edited)

ICO crazy is here but lets see how they trade now so you can expect next ones and current returns if you invested.

Best ROI vs BTC Invested

Keep in mind those you would have to hold few years to have this ROI now. Not that easy. IOTA and 0x i believe are still undervaluated.

Best ROI vs ETH

CVC and BAT should raise way more imho.

Top ICO by Money Raise

Tezos aka XTZ is actually at 400 millions because they still hold BTC and BCH from the ICO. They are only traded on BitMEX futures.

Investment in ICO right now is brilliant, as we could gain some serious money through it. But the obvious and only main concern is that we need to be good at picking. I have gone ahead with joining Cryptonetix, it is hottest project right now with so much to gain. They even offer 50% discount during the presale, so just like a jackpot! http://cryptonetix.com/

Just found this today. Looks promising. Anyone else hear about this?

The ICO launches 🚀 next week.

Let me know what you think. I’d like some feedback please.

Don't bother with risky ICO's! Make steady returns with Bitcoin HYIP's at @arbokinvestments:-)

I’m not buying into it. I’m getting free coins for sharing the link.

I actually made a post about ICO information:
https://steemit.com/ico/@johnycrypto/best-websites-to-get-information-about-ico-s

What website is that? i allready used but i didnt bookmark it
Thanks for sharing

welcome" johnycrypto"
it is very easy

Thanks for the information @johnycrypto. It been proved that ICOs have at least x2 ROI

Good ICO's yeah but the hype is kinda dieying right now, only very good ones go x2 ROI now

Investing in ICO's as a title for a post?

Shame on the kingscrown for trolling the audience.

Investing and ICOs don't belong in the same sentence.

LOL Why not?

Do I invest my money when I go to the casinos in Vegas?

I established a wonderful portfolio at the craps table.

I agree with your logic. If you "invest" at the craps table, then you should feel pretty comfortable with the idea of "investing" in ICOs.

SOS - same ole shit

it's not vegas casino gambling , can u agree with that?

If you are tired of ICO's you can invest in diversified HYIPs at @arbokinvestments :-)

My understanding of investing is an expectation of a return. Sometimes that is a negative return if the risk turns out to be too great. These are also the ones that have the potential for huge returns. ie - ICOs.

Guys keep in mind 96% of ICO's that have raised $300K+ have turned a profit for their investors. & 84% have doubled investors profit. The numbers are on our side. & Andreas said it himself, ICO's will be a 100 Billion dollar market. So we have big shoes to fill before that statistic starts to fall. In my opinion.

ICOs scare me. It's hard to keep track whether they actually have a platform or just a scam.

I wish this was my experience investing in ICO's as well, unfortunatelly my numbers don't compare nor they are on the plus side so far. (started investing in ICO in may this year, there is still time)

Thanks for the info.

I believe the money is going to flow in to the older altcoins after the 2x fork. Im going in ether right after 2x

Sad but true even in this market, I am getting killed trying to trade. Just when and every time I diversify my btc into other alts- it rockets to the moon. Just when I go for the gold... all in on btc expecting continuation- it pulls back. I have to learn patience and set goals.

good post
but i thinnk a every day many ico is pop up
and how we get benefit of these ICO
plz guid me i am waiting

Shahzad0, you may want to check out TokenDesk. They are putting together a project to do the due diligence via a defined formula on pending and future ICOs. Here is my link, if this helps.

There are so many ICOs that pop up every day. How does one keep track of them and what signs should one look for that makes an ICO a good investment opportunity?

promo_banner.png

If you really want to find how many new ICOs there are every day, just keep refreshing the coinmarketcap.com page every few minutes and you are guaranteed to see a new pop ad for a new ICO. It's crazy!

It really is. I honestly don't understand it since the majority of the new ICOs are just replicas of already existing projects. I think it's becoming like a dot com boom. I'm pretty sure there will be some kind of regulation soon.

Why would you want to try? There are 100+ new stocks that become available every day in the US, if you include the pink sheets. Do you feel inclined to try to learn about every new stock that becomes available?

If not, why not? Why doesnt that logic apply to the new shit coins?

You're right. I do believe the majority of ICOs are shit coins. But then an IOTA, NEO, or EOS comes along and they do have amazing potential. The thing is, these new coins with high potential aren't being promoted on Facebook or Instagram. An example is Dash. I don't even remember seeing advertising for Dash. I just began to hear about it after Bitcoin transaction were being investigated and so Monero and Dash values went up. These are the coins I'm interested about. Not little coins that require social media marketing to receive funding.

I also feel QTUM is one to go far

Awesome. I'll check it out. Thanks for the heads up!

To the readers of the post: Short links are provided by url shortening services. The short links they provide can be useful in some cases. Generally their use is benign. But as with all useful tools there are dangers. Short links can be used to hide all sorts of things. Quite frequently they are used to hide referral links for instance. While not dangerous this can be deceptive. They can also be used to hide dangerous links such as links to phishing sites, sites loaded with malware, scam sites, etc. You should always be extremely cautious before clicking on one. If you don't know and trust the poster don't click. Even if you do you should still be cautious and wary of any site you are sent to. It's always better to visit the site directly and not through a short link.

To the author of the post: While short links may be useful on some sites they are not needed on steemit. You can use markdown to format your links such as this link to steemit. It's as simple as [steemit](https://steemit.com) Unlike short links this allows the reader to see where they are going by simply hovering over the link before they click on it.

wow really really nice, thanks for information.

Best thing to do now, wait for the Ico on the exchange, it dumped then you can buy cheaper than the ICO price very often

Most of the crypto companies offer significant discounts in the pre-sale to large buyers. We are putting together a buying group to help smaller investors get the same access to discounts and achieve larger returns: https://steemit.com/ico/@mattervest/ico-buying-pool-from-mattervest

Always look at the team, and the general concept of the ICO. Does the team have past success? Does the ICO solve a real world problem or bring anything new to the table?
Those are the biggest things to look at when investing.

I think cryptos like BAT just have not been fully realized yet and its just going to take a little more time for them to really take off. Cryptos such as that could very well be the next step.

BAT is interesting...I like the Brave browser.....

There is a good team behind that one.

I'm on the Brave browser.. it's excellent!
So far I've had no issues and it performs so much better with a large stack of tabs than all the other browsers. Firefox has turned to crap lately.
Also removes ads from YT again since the dogs went all "fck your adblock" on users.

On ICOs: I think one needs to ask:

  • what is the problem it seeks to address
  • is the problem evident or perceived
  • is the problem here and now or in the future
  • how will the solution be implemented
  • will that be now or in the future.
  • can the technology facilitate that implementation
  • is the team competent.
  • why are my hot pockets taking so long

So many ICOs will fall off the list of worthy candidates.
There are only a few which have a future.
The rest are clear money grabs.
Or simply way too ambitious and are just existing as a place/idea holder.

I've been testing out Brave browser, and it will be an interesting model if they can pull it off. I fear adoption may be tough though. People are stubborn, and it might be difficult to convince them to use it over something that already has wider adoption.

Wow, these mentioned ICOs have unbelievable returns! I wonder if anyone has calculated whether or not you would profit if you invested in every ICO ever... the results would be interesting (I think you would have quite a bit of profit)

Nice post! Thanks!

im my ipinion the best and safe invested site and low risk is bitconnect

Hasn't Tezos been asked to return 210 mln to investors, by SEC?

Most ICOs are bought by people looking to 'flip' their tokens to a greater fool for a quick profit. More than 90% will fall to have a near-zero value in time.

ICO investment is risky. One has to carefully scrutinize a lot of aspects in a certain project whose ICO one wants to invest in. That would include the entire vision of the project as well as the specific objectives, among others. However, if chosen right, ICOs will really give us a good chance to earn big.

nice post on this..being looking it up on ico resteem

IOTA is indeed still undervalued. Great post, voted and followed!

Nice updates and statistic about cryptocurrency , good job for giving us tips and news about that,.
Steem on!

Good post @kingscrown, ICO is a good investment place

but your images show ICO's from the past. Things like aeternity or status aren't going that well. No one should base their answer on this post if you ask me.

Interesting... Do you know which ongoing or upcoming ICO might be interesting to watch?

Check out universa. It has a unique white paper and the team behind it are professionals. Also Datum.

I havent had any success with ICOs, you think they are worth the wait?

It's never too late, but unfortunately the gold times are gone!

What do u guys think about electroneum?

What do u guys think about electroneum?

i invested a little in it,but im mostly looking forward to Plexcoin if it ever releases.

What do u guys think about electroneum? looks promising tho

Has a great site. Someone knows what they are doing. As far as the concept goes, it sounds plausible but the jury is still out for now.

great kingscrown

Thank you for sharing

If hindsight is 20/20, an expression needs to be made for those who held from ICO to present day and didn't sell a drop. This excludes those who held inadvertently by losing their private keys for a few years.

What's the secret? Buy and Hold!
