This used to be small exchange but due to loads of ICOs and volumes it become huge.
They used to denominate every market in few coins.
Sadly LTC/DOGE pairs are dead now.
This means loads of smaller cap coins wont be able to trade on BTC pair, since LTC or DOGE was needed.
Listing STEEM ?
They used to list coins for free but now theres only paid service and it costs a bit of their internal coin.
By estimation (this is way lower actually) it would be..
This just shows how crazy crypto market is now.

- Binance - top volume exchange, added STEEM today
- BitMex - best place for leverage trading of loads of coins
- CoinExchange - loads of things to get early
- LiveCoin - has SBD and some cool coins not found anywhere else
- SimpleFX - anon forex with crypto and also BTC, NMC and other leveraged trades up to x500

Most exchanges these days charge for listing new coins. Those exchanges high up there in volumes charge exorbitant amounts. Cryptopia isn't high up there in volumes to justify that high a listing charge.
The new coin listing fees are insane.
Even the coins that win votes take forever to get listed. XRB on Binance is an example... There's so much demand and these exchanges are struggling to keep up.
The services are not matching the insane fees...
Lot of new coins,prices of listings rise..This is good because,it filters a lot of shity scam coins that appear very day like mushrooms.They probably won't pay lot of cash for listing.
It's insane man. Look at the fee they are charging for listing of the coin that is unbelievable.
I personally think Binance is very good addition for steem trading.

yes now the bitcoin exchange is attracting the traders by their referral commission & many others things like less fee etc so its better to trade on binance which is also listing many new coins their exchange.

i just trade on BTC pair which is a good thing for me to trade but its better to give a try to the other pairs instead of BTC ,than what if the thins like this gonna happen than it will just create panic among the trader of that exchange.

95% of the users care about only 1 thing: a status or progress report concerning the LTC/DOGE markets. You did not supply any report about this for a long time. People are outraged. Please supply us with an update.
I think full dogecoin market is dead. If you see there is no trading pair with Dogecoin in Cryptopia

I feel cryptopia is very immature. They delist coins because the community complains? SAFEx anyone?
I to like cyrptopia and after it i like binance. Cryptopia exchange charges higher then binance but contain log of al coins. I buyed Doge coin, paccoin, Reddcoin. Cryptopia is good because they allow users to signup easily so you perform exchange but you perform exchange by LTC and BTC only other option don't allow to buy your fav. coin . Other exchange are also good but take high time to verify your account.

Soon cryptopia will closed down too... if they closed those market and charge huge just to add a coin. No one will go to them, there are plenty of better exchange than they are.
I was trading the day the LTC & Doge markets closed. It happened unexpectedly and people were freaking out. The truth is Cryptopia didn't have the infrastructure to handle the influx of new users and failed to scale up their operation. Not only did they fail to make changes but they simply didn't communicate to the users what was going on. It's a shame as Cryptopia was a wonderful exchange but has lost the trust of users.
For NOOBs it may be much easier to use wallets with built-in exchanges (Coinomi) or decentralize/permissionless exchanges (flyp.me, etherdelta etc)
