I have played today with Coindesks BPI (Bitcoin Price Index).
Made for my readers this historical data of Bitcoin price spikes with comments.
This BPI doesnt use all exchanges so for example BTC-E had some prices lower in 2014 than listed here, Huobi/BTC38 had higher but the main view on market and moves is pretty solid.
So keep that in mind asking where is price XXXX here.
2010
Price went this year to the ATH of 0,39$ for literally one day.
2011
This year was so crazy.. For one day we had 29,60$ if you bought even on ATH of 2010 and sold here, what a mad profit. Better than on stocks market.
2012
Not a good year from previous ATH. We went to just 13.25$ per coin in the middle and ended with 13,40$.
2013
THe famous year of the bubble. Nothing for many months then jump to 1,147$ per coin and coverage in all medias.
2014
The year of downfall. Went to as low as 308$ per coin.
2015
Bitcoin is getting back on its feet with highest price of 456.56$ and lowest price of 193$.
2016
Slow year of constantly going up price with ending at 993$.
2017
So far so good.

Love your support!
Bitcoin seems to get stronger with each attempt of governments to discredit it. It's just unstoppable!

Very informative graphs - definitely think there is a strong future for bitcoin as well as other cryptocurrencies.
