I dare say that it would be hard to get your USD out once you have sold the BTC through the exchange. Looks like you can only withdraw to Zimbabwean accounts or Ecocash. Then you will probably run into restrictions from Zimbabwean banks when trying to move the USD out.

Zimbabwe today, who knows what nation will be in turmoil next. This is the advantage of borderless non government backed currency. Sadly many just don't get it, but think about the real potential based on the small amount of money currently invested in Crypto as more people accept that it's the real deal.
Not surprising with the turmoil in the country. I am in South-Africa and the current situation is quite concerning. If it does get violent, SA will have no choice but to respond as the current leaders of SADC.

In Zimbabwe US dollars are banked, ie confiscated, and turned into 'electronic' US dollars for which the lucky owner gets 2 'electronic' dollars. Thus Bitcoin in Zim, is 2 electronic US dollars for every real US dollar and thus double the 'dollar' price. Hard to believe but true.
So if you sold you Bitcoin there for double the US rate you would end up with double in 'electronic' US Zimbabwe-ised dollars. No such a great deal.
