Now if we go by same mechanism that worked so far, next stop is 2400 USD and then 2600.
Lets say you have now a lot of USD worth of BTC. You want to go shopping for extreme stuff to show how you roll.
Maybe want a flat?
Or a car?
Maybe Star Wars stuff?
Okay so you have the target goods maybe.. how to make sure the guy doesnt scam you? How to be sure he has right documents and will pass them when you pay to fulfill contract ?
What if there was a site that lists expensive goods, verifies owners and make secure transactions by taking a fee?

I would enable 2fa on steemit if it were an option!
Instead i just keep everything in steempower so even IF a hacker got control of my account they would need to power down and wait a WEEK to get anything! and even thenit would be 1/14th! lol and that wont happen, very few stemit acounst have beenhacked

Nice. We're thinking of accepting bitcoin for our coffee. The only problem is that our current market is too small and international shipping prices for a bag of coffee are ridiculous. We're hopeful and still exploring!

Yes Bitcoin will go to 2500 and beyond, but we need to understand that if this were to happen then it is mostly because the USD is going the opposite direction. There is a competition going on between the cryptos to see who can get value. I believe that within 5 years Bitcoin could hit 5000 or 6000 and the dollar could become quaint, archaic, a distant memory. Hard to say what the value of Bitcoin will be, but given that only 21,000,000 will be issued it should have value.
That's a nice addition to my BITC education. Thanks for providing it - do not know when I'll use it, but will hold it in reserve.

I like ethereum and litecoin as a shot at bitcoin just don't know where to trust to buy it here in the US, screw coinbase.

why would i buy bitcoin? they shot straight up since a month, theres gonna be a nice correction, maybe ill get some when that happen, but still, if theres hacking , internet or power down, yourin trouble, long term investemnt is better silver but a small position to be greedy in bitcoin is fine just to not feel too bad if one year from now they get to 10000, i heard its gonna go to 1M some day lol

Really interesting to see the cool stuff you can buy with Bitcoin these days. I noticed recently you can book plane tickets & hotels with BTC on Expedia now. I recently took a short vacation to a hot springs resort and paid for the accommodation with Bitcoin. Man it felt so good to do that!
