Good morning Steemians, if you are a cryptocurrency trader, lover, holder or full time Steemian, just relax. Everything will be back, even stroger as it was.
As you can see in the title I want to share my own opinion, at the moment, about Bitcoin.
I think Bitcoin will only be used in the future as being the first crypto, Bitcoin will always be there, Bitcoin will never be destroyed, but for sure there are 100% other blockchain which will be ranked number 1. Saying future I meant around 2 years.
This photo says a lot to me. Of course I would add some more amazing blockchains, like STEEM & NEO.
We need decentralized blockchains, which have to keep our anonymity if we want that, we need blockchains which can stand up to the mass adoption, we need blockchains with acceptable fees and very fast confirmations. We have to be honest, bitcoin doesn't fit here.
I don’t see any other cryptos replacing bitcoin. Most other cryptos have t found their purpose yet, even those with solid use cases. Sure there will be cryptos which are better at many things and that may see greater adoption in different areas but that does t necessarily mean btc will die.
We need to get past this era of speculation where cryptos are used as people think they can make money from them, and allow them to reach their full potential in the many areas they can add value.
Just transferred 5 digits worth of bitcoin. It cost <90 dollars and was shown pending receipt in seconds and confirmed within <2 hrs. Compared to current fiat standards that isfreaking fast. Maybe not as cheap as other companies.
Maybe if lightning node and atomic swaps come online it will help bitcoin and litecoin. It’s just a shame all the infighting that bcash users have started up. Rather than work together they want to destroy all of crypto, even themselves, rather than see bcore survive.

I totally agree with you. Bitcoin will stay. The price might go down or up but it will be there. Besides, there are other alt coins we can invest in so as long as the blockchain technology exist, cryptocurrencies will always be there.

I don't know if it is better than eth or litecoin but neo will definitely be in top 5 crypto very soon!

Everytime fud is biemh created by big whales just to bring the price down accmulate it and then starting praising the btc ...newbies jump again to take it ATH ...and then these whales exit the market and preocess repeats again and again

yes its the only newbie who are creating panic among us,they will buy high sell low,its their strategy.
I think BTC is able to survive, but its speed is beginning to be inhibited by various parties and government policy. The goal is to raise other crypto currencies. In the next few years BTC can be overtaken and many people who are investing into other cryptocurrency including STEEM.
ofcourse i agree, there are a lot of blockchain with use cases apart from just a currency which is what bitcoin is right now, steem is a quintessential proof of this

ofcourse it will survive it has to be .because its getting hurt by noobs ,people with weak hands are selling in panic,they will sell low but again they will by again when it reaches top.

Notonly steem each & every alts coin are directly proportional to BTC,in any situation the more bleed comes to alts.
I think the bitcoin will be slow and lazy, so I think something at BCC or ETH or NEO will take its place over a few years.

So, it is very much true that Future belongs to Crypto Currency but the stardom of BTC will face some tough competition for sure.

As long as people like Andreas Antonopoulos believe in BTC I do the same.
I think the problems we are facing atm can and will be solved as most of the coins are not there were we need them to be yet.
Bitcoin is facing a lot of "political" debates within itself and as the king is getting attacked quite regular.
Segwit is not really active as not even coinbase has switched yet afaik.
If BTC will be the coin we pay our coffee with? Probabably not and he does not have to be and still be nr 1.
the development is going further, new systems are coming. Like before the blockchain was coming, we never was thinking there will be something better, now it is here. I believe a lot of people will come back to the more established coins after negative expieriences with new coins, that may have a good concept but were hyped too much without having a working product
I feel like crypto currencies being abused,it should be traded like money,not to hold and get rich stuff.
I do hope for the best,because it has potentials to replace current monetary system and I love fast transaction,low fees and no one nosing at your business.
