Looking at the charts, it looks like the Bitcoin Dominance Index may be about to roll over

Bitcoin Dominance has been showing signs of weakness the last few weeks, even though its price has been pretty strong.

Altcoin prices have been even stronger.

Right now, it looks like the Bitcoin Dominance Index could be on the verge of a significant drop.

We just had a break of a support level and then a retest of that support now turned resistance.

If that new found resistance holds, bitcoin dominance may be headed a lot lower...

Altcoins seeing relative strength

Even as bitcoin has been going up as of late, many altcoins have been going up even more.

The altcoin market now finds itself at a major crossroads.

It's at a significant resistance level that will either reject prices or serve as a springboard to possibly start the next altcoin season.

If we can break this level significantly, I would not be surprised to see the altcoin market go back to the highs seen in the early summer of last year.

Perhaps there is some seasonality to this and we will see the altcoin market breakout in the spring and early summer again this year.

Time will tell.
