Is this an episode from Saturday Night Live? or an attempt to drive the ETH bubble bigger?
Watch out for these expert's opinions to drive you out of bitcoin, they are the one's buying your bitcoins now and giving you altcoins. Well these experts did not see the ETH crash on Coinbase this week, that video was made earlier but they deliberately avoid talking about the fact that Bitcoin will have a fix for the scaling issues sooner or later. Maybe they will tell you once they have all your bitcoins in their wallets.
They quickly point out Bitcoin's rise percentage wise but they also ignore to point out the percentage rise of ETH! why is that?
Bitcoin is more volatile than ETH? give me a break.
The attacks on Bitcoin will increase in severity and there is a good reason for that, yes bitcoin has issues with fees and speed and and .... but none of these issues is unsolvable .... the reason it is not solved till now is simple, there are many solutions proposed and every one wants his own solution not the others...
There is nothing wrong with investing in altcoins, but be cautious altcoins are a thousand times more volatile than Bitcoin, something these experts are not telling you.
WAIT, WAIT, WAIT..... They think ETH will be at around $3,000 a coin by the end of 2018?!?!?
If that is the case, what do they think BITCOIN will be at?

I see. As far as I understand it, it will happen in August and will be implemented so that Bitcoin transaction speeds will be upgraded. Depending on the outcome of the upgrade, Bitcoin might take a hit as there is a fair chance that Bitcoin will be split, not unlike ETH and ETC. Most wallets and exchanges will be ready for the split. If you are a previous owner of Bitcoin, when the split happens, you will own both versions of the coin.
Seems no one want's to read and understand anymore.
Depends how much of speculative capital was pumped into Bitcoin. I think Bitcoin will get more stable when more people start using it as a currency (to pay for products and services) and not as another forex like casino.

Yikes... sounds like I need to educate myself better. I bought Ethereum Classic because they didn't budge on principle - I liked that. Now I'm wondering if I should own any type of Ethereum at all.
My bet is it will be used to vote in the next general election. Dont run just yet.

Yes there is a huge bubble in ETH, but this will be the next World currency because it is completely connected to: "The Internet of Things!"
Im not saying anything negative about Bitcoin because it will ALWAYS be at the top. ETH has already taken most of their market when dealing in blockchain. Their tech is the absolute best. Even Putin has been introducing it into his economy.
After seeing these videos things will become clear.....

Yeah in terms of percentage bitcoin rose very little compared to other alt coins. Most of the alt coins even the copy coins went up at least 10 times in one month whereas bitcoin just doubled in price. I don't think bitcoin is in a bubble but some the alt coins are surely in a big bubble.
There may be short term corrections, but the future is very bright for blockchain and crypto, especially ethereum.
Thanks for you perspective. Bitcoin is also a reflection of the crony capitalism around the world. It will be challenged; so will altcoins. However there are countries embracing it. This is very unique in world history. It will be interesting to watch as it unfolds.

That's is so true for some of the experts, wall street people who were saying Bitcoin is a scam are now saying it's not a scam but we can do better. :D
Its hard for me to trust them when i saw few times bitcoin will crash to 10 100 150... each time bitcoin went up and their previsions were wrong..

Bitcoin will always have first mover advantage. I cant see anything taking its place soon. Ethereum has a very different use case to Bitcoin, so its not a replacement.
Sure, but how many of the BTC / ETH holders actually using either for their use cases? Right now both are being held purely for speculative value. The fact that ETH actually has a use can influence which coin speculators invest in.
Here is an idea and it's easy to implement: Shut if off. Bloomberg, CNBC, NBC, CBS etc. It's called "programming" for a reason. The bubble is in fiat and it doesn't take a genius to figure it out.

bitcoin came to stay - for how long nobody knows - i was wondering why the banks let bitcoin grow so fast - maybe we now see them fighting back, but i guess they will not succed unless they do not invent a cryptocurrency on their own...

I'm waiting for some serious attacks from central bankers through corrupted politicians in the name of governments. That will put a pressure on the prices. On another hand, rumors are, Russia may in a few months join/start supporting crypro currencies. Which makes sense, Russia is outside western criminal central banking system and it is building separate international payment system. If this happen, it will be huge.
This is highly unlikely, take a look around. People power is what pulls through no matter what because after all this whole system or network would only run if people are in it. Its nice to see others using every trick in the book to get ahead, that's real desperate tho.
I never trust the media. Unfortunately the media has a huge impact on these markets as things are only worth as much as people think it's worth. Any negative media attention and you'll immediately see the bitcoin drop in value.

I don't think BTC will crash anytime soon and as you said, you are better off investing in BTC rather than some other highly volatile currency.
They may just be trying to deter people from crypto
There will always be naysayers. So many critics claim Bitcoin is driven purely by hype (FOMO). There is a real fear driving the critics' point of view as well; the fear that they have already missed out.
They want so see it crash because they couldn't profit from it themselves.

In a world where every Tom, Dick and Harry has some sort of hidden agenda, there is no room for "trusting the media".
That's not to say that there are not some out right decent and honest people in the media, but at the end of the day it really comes down to the fact that most will sell out and do as they are told to do, rather than investigate and report just the facts!
Oh well, if it happens they will say "What did we tell you", if it doesn't happen they will blame "their sources" and say how the "world is shocked" and so on.

This is definately a paid article by elites... Ethereum is having endless negativity come out at the same time, value tanking to the floor.. Apple blocking ETH in jaxx. blockchain backlogged due to transactions manipulation, I view on eth has changed alot lately, quite frankly im out, ETC is much less centralized IMO
yeah thats scary that the creator is saying that, after he said if there is any sort of issue with eth hell simply revert the blockchain and change it, or remove funds from a hacker, not that i support any hackers, but the whole poiint is decentralization, the exact opposite route eth seems to be taking recently. just a 23 year old that got lots in the billions quickly.

Altcoin and Etherium plus others are all trying to catch up. But as we know India parliament has endorsed bitcoin...many countries central banks are looking into it. US senator is bringing a bill to regulate bitcoin....why only bitcoin...I think BTC has something special in it. Keep it coming Joseph...nice one...

ETH might surpass BTC with its market cap but i doubt BTC will lose on its value. It is and will remain a center crypto currency for a long time. BTC acceptance in real world market is growing and it wont stop anytime soon.
