RE: Are You Committing This Crypto Investing Sin?

in #bitcoin7 years ago

Good advice but probably impractical to implement completely. For example, when I buy a car, how much of the mechanics of it do I need to understand myself? I do as much research as I can, but in the end have to rely on others for at least some of my decision. And that is a far more important decision that which crypto to buy because my family's safety will rely on it.
We make our bets based on the best information we can get and have to live with the results. Hell, that's part of the fun of it, right?
I have to say that in my short time in crypto this has been such a wild and exciting ride. Most of all, the people in this space are so interesting and intelligent (including cryptovester). I'm very happy to be here and look forward to a great 2018, one way or the other!

Well the difference is that you aren't investing in the car - you are buying it to use it. If you're buying a cryptocurrency to use it, then yes - same rule of not needing to know much applies. But investing implies some understanding beyond what the market understands so you have an edge against the masses, at which point will ultimately be corrected in your favor.
