I def believe all is going to insane highs by say... 2020 even but we may see some serious dips and rises and dips and rises in the mean time. in any case... buying is good decision...i think no matter what in the long term, gains will be made on a serious level.

As long as Bitcoin can't process all the transactions in timely manner, people can see that it sucks. That's why I suspect that more money will flow to the altcoins. If Bitcoin can't function like a real currency, it will die off eventually when people move to blockchains that actually work.
Altcoins are so volatile and the price fluctuates like a yo-yo based on incoming news and hype e.g Ethereal summit and Consensus. If you don't have the stress appetite for it, just hodl Bitcoin and Ethereum.
You can sell your course straightup on steemit for steem or SBD. You students can join steemit and earn enough to pay for your courses etc. Loads you can do on steemit. You entire venture can happen on the steem blockchain and the knowhow to make it happen exists even among steemians!

Definitely @stefanarud with $200 to invest I would put it all into Steem because I am doing that with everything I do have to invest! What I think makes a great investment is feeling good about losing it. If I lose everything in Steem, I will be sure I invested for the right reasons and accept it as I tried my best and it did not work out. If I invest just to make money without believing and lose, then that hurts.
Nice post, one has to think there is something to the bitcoin move up and the altcoins down (pretty much all major altcoins)...I am bullish of course in the long term for all major coins, but in the short term, given the massive move in altcoins in the last 60 days, one must tread carefully. It is always a gamble when it comes to any sorts of investment, you never truly know for sure what's gonna go up and what's gonna go down for certain. Anyways, I do also think STEEM might still go up, and I hope your predictions from your previous post will turn to be correct because I do like STEEM and I do believe it is going at a fairly good rate.

While almost all coins are at all time highs (cough, in a bubble), Steem has been 3x higher before and yet the technology and the community are stronger than ever.
I agree that these are very good signs that Steem will not only survive the inevitable coin crash, but continue to thrive.
Great post. It's crazy (and awesome) to watch all of these crypto-currencies take off.. Every day you can go to coinmarketcap.com and see a coin in almost 100% green. I can only wonder where it will all be in 5 years!

Just to add a cointerpoint to your expert advice. ! what about if you just held your altcoin and watch as the phenomenal updrift of Buttplug... I mean Bitcoin carries the coins & their market caps into a new stratosphere. I mean wouldn't you be sick if you dumped all your other altcoins into bitcoin today and watched it float back down to $1500..because we all know as it does this, flow of Madness ( it is literally insanity personified by button clicks) will filter back into the lower value coins.. I'd be very surprised if the likes of bitshare, bytecoin, ripple and doge don't continue to grow into rather large potatoes when Jo The Public gets involved and wants a piece.. Jo Public will be putting his and her bets on buying a few thousand coins at pennies each, hoping to turn $500 into $5000.. anyway just my 2 penneth worth.. keep truckin Jerry & have a coffee to calm your nerves up.

You're right there is no way to know what will happen for sure and everyone's guess is equally as valid because anyone could be right regardless of what the odds look like today!
Great post. Reminds me of a friend of mine who kept lamenting about not buying Amazon back in the day. I have since introduced him to crypto which in my opinion has dozens of potential Amazons on any given day.
Nice content as always!! I like crypto overall but I can't stop thinking about the dot com bubble. Bitcoin will keep on rising, god knows for how much longer, before it tumbles. Personally I believe it has enough space to go further up. As for buying an altcoin for the long term I was never a fan of investing, I like having 10%-20% profit or 10%-15% loss per trade consistently rather than 10x-100x on my money after a long period of time.
I think we're more likely to see a decent drop, before we break $3K. There's too much Bitcoin hype right now. We've seen some mainstream coverage in recent days which often coincides with tops. Some good insights:
