Dash is currently the seventh biggest digital currency in the world in terms of the total market cap, which is valued at about $1.4 bln and has been increasing after getting accepted on the App Store.
Apple has officially authorized the digital currency Dash on its App Store as of mid-July 2017, after previously rejecting the currency.

Dash CEO told the decision of accepting the cryptocurrency by Apple, will boost the cryptocurrency and it is recognition of the growing demand and importance of the currency. He told that for Apple taking the decision on accepting the dash must have been a difficult one as they are always on the lookout for user safety and checking everything and ensure that only valuable projects can access the ecosystem.
“Our users can confidently use Dash Wallets that are maintained, officially supported and known to be safe. Apple has shown a willingness to allow worthy digital currencies into their platform, but that requires an incredible amount of due diligence on their part. We’re pleased that they determined Dash was worth the substantial effort to evaluate, and we’re obviously pleased with the outcome.”
Appeal process
Taylor has shared other information like appeal process, he thinks it takes a long time and its painstakingly long one for them. They believe in company business model, after a long discussion, the Dash team decided to lodge an appeal which Apple eventually reconsidered. Many different developers and Blockchain firms have filed applications for Dash-integrated wallets to the App Store. But from the list, many applications were rejected by Apple.
Cryptocurrencies on App Store
Till now, on Apple store near about 10 cryptocurrencies authorized, that can can be used on its App Store. Aside from Dash, these digital currencies include Ethereum, Bitcoin, Steem, Litecoin, Lisk and Ripple.
Dash iOS walled is also available on the App Store, Dash team is working and making plan to inject more investment into their iOS app to add additional feautres and improvement shortly
